THE FORUM NORTH CHARITABLE TRUST IN OCTOBER 2022 PRESENTED ‘FURTHERING THE DREAM’ A CELEBRATION OF MUSICAL THEATRE BY A SELECTION OF NORTHLAND’S FINEST PERFORMERS, INCLUDING MEMBERS OF:

- Whangarei Theatre Company
- WADPA (Whangarei Academy of Dance & Performing Arts).
- Tamariki Manheri
- The Waipu Major Minors
- With Guest Artists
- Hayden Tee
- Kawiti Waetford
This show was a fundraiser directed by Shaan Kloet and presented by the Forum North Trust to help keep the dream of a lyric theatre alive and to show the people of Northland what talent we have on our shores. The programme featured favourite musical theatre songs and celebrated the past shows that Northland has been treated to, as well as having a sneak peak into what could be done when we further our dream of the new lyric theatre here in Whangarei.
We played to 2 sold out houses and hosted a very successful cocktail party prior to the opening for the Council Candidates and local Iwi.
