Meet the Trustees…

In line with past success and all recommendations, FNT13 proposes to govern and manage the operation of this performing arts precinct, to support affiliated organisations and to connect our people via the performing arts through this precinct.

In conjunction with the current facilities at Forum North, many cultural and business opportunities will be enhanced – allowing for growth in our artistic and cultural identity and by supporting the revitalisation of Whangarei’s CBD, district and region.

FNT13 is committed to providing a high quality performing arts precinct that is designed to reflect our place and our people.

With the soon to be vacant Forum North buildings, FNT13 looks forward to making the dream of a “best in NZ” performing arts precinct become a reality… a dream that is 45 years long in the making and very much overdue.

Detail regarding donations made to Forum North in 1982 on the understanding that the full plan was to be realised, is still outstanding.

WDC approved $M10.5 towards a new theatre in their 10 year LTFP.
